Like plain Vivax, this variety of giant hardy timber bamboo is the fastest to reach spectacular sized groves. This bamboo is known to revert to Vivax Huangwhenzhu and Vivax as one of ours has done, so it is possible to end up with three different cultivars from this one.  This is one of our favorite bamboos.
