* Clumping BambooThis beautiful clumping bamboo has a bluish–white waxy coating that completely covers its culms. As the canes age the wax slowly comes off, revealing its true green cane. Its leaf is fairly large with stunning blue undertones. Borinda albocerea grows upright to a max height of about 20 feet but we estimate it will only reach about 10 feet in select protected west coast micro climates.
This bamboo prefers at least partial shade, but will also do well in full sun.

Fountain bamboo is similar to Fargesia murielae except it has darker culms. The culms are a dark mahogany color with a bluish white powder when young. This is a great bamboo for the lazy gardener. It is tough, beautiful and clumping.
