We have been very selective with the Canna that we have chosen to grow.  Our specialty is the giant Canna indica Pupurea that can tower as high as twelve or thirteen feet and bring an unmistakable jungle presence to the garden along with the odd humming bird if they are in your area.   We used to grow several other varieties of Cannas but Purpurea is our favorite.
